Million dollar lottery winner Jay Hixton was found dead in his apartment, shot through the heart sometime between 11 and 2 the night before. Judging by the bullet hole, the murder weapon was a 9mm gun, which was not found at the crime scene.
Instead a larger gun was left by the victim’s body. A safe at the crime scene was left open and appeared to have been cleaned out.
