Beckett and Castle question Nicole Hixton again and she admits she did get back on drugs but her father told her he would fix it and deal with her controlling dealer. The team now have all they need to arrest Oz but there is a problem as he operates off the grid and only comes out to certain nightclubs in order to sell his ware to wealthy clients. He is also protected by an army of bodyguards and patrons who will alert him if any police are around so he can disappear.
Castle and Beckett decide to go undercover as ordinary citizens and pay a visit to the nightclub. Beckett manages to get close to Oz and arrest him but when he is brought in for questioning, he denies the charge, though there are witnesses who claim to have seen him the night Jay was killed.
Oz explains he did try to talk to the victim after he got beat up by the Page brothers but he was stopped at the door by an elderly proper-looking man so he decided not to go through with the ‘meeting.’ Castle and Beckett realize this man Oz is talking about is the butler.
